The world for some boys and adolescent males is confusing and challenging. They struggle with what is healthy and appropriate as a male, often bombarded by the media that there is something inherently wrong based on their gender; a monster in waiting. Boys are falling behind academically, disengaging socially, find achievement online and battle quietly with low self-esteem. There is risk taking and pornography; yet also a general apathy. Experts describe it as the boy crisis.
Alexander, an accomplished psychotherapist and professional in male development, author of the book on male development, The Third Year Initiation, shares the challenges and what can be done. This workshop is suited for parents and educators.
