Leading is a process used by any individual who wants to help other people make positive changes or get things done. So, if you have a personal desire to exercise any kind of leadership and would like to develop some leadership skills then quite soon you can be a leader in your chosen area whether a small community group, at work or within the family.
John says that leaders are not interested in controlling other people, in being a boss or a manager – people like that are very often not leaders. For nearly 20 years earlier in his life John trained people in rural Queensland, including some who are now today’s most prominent community leaders.
