Presenter: Skye Fitzpatrick
This is a period and body positive workshop for teen and pre-teen girls, aiming to empower young women with the wisdom of their bodies and their cycles. This is an invitation for young girls to come home to themselves and their bodies as they evolve into womanhood. We are going to discuss our biology, the four seasons of our menstrual cycle as well as accompanying feminine archetypes. Throughout the session we will also delve into self-care rituals to aid in deepening our relationships with ourselves for a joyful month. This will be an informative and supportive morning of shared insight, discussion and fun.
Skye has participated in similar workshops during her teenage years as well as continued learning, which she described as invaluable going forward. She is able to bring awareness of the content as well as personal experience and relatability to her students.
