Sarah Callinan

Sarah Callinan is a qualified teacher and guidance counsellor who has worked in education roles for 20 years. Sarah’s passion lies in raising awareness of the rapid rate of brain development happening in a child’s first few years of life, and the need to create loving and nurturing environments at this time so children can thrive. Recently as part of her role in Queensland government Sarah led the co-design of a child and brain development resource with four remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The resource is available publicly to assist people working with young children and their families.
